Guess Jam

The deep survey-board game

Name Something

Name Something is the longer, turn-based Guess Jam format. Each prompt hides a deep ranked board, rewarding players who can keep thinking beyond the most obvious first answer.

How Name Something works

Clear rules, natural answers, and a reveal that keeps every player in the round.

Open a deep board

Read the prompt and picture the answers a surveyed crowd was most likely to give.

Take turns guessing

Valid matches reveal their rank and value while wrong or repeated guesses count as misses.

Use the steal chance

When an opponent leaves an answer behind, the other player gets one opportunity to claim it.

Win across the boards

Scores build over four boards before the final comparison.

Good to know

Answers should sound natural

There is no requirement to pad an answer into a phrase. One word, two words, or a longer answer can all be right when that is the clearest way to express the idea.

Answer matching

Say it the way that makes sense

An answer can be one word, two words, or longer. Guess Jam recognizes common natural variations without requiring filler words.

Keep the room playing

Change the pace without changing the people.
